Member of Parliament from the Servant of the People faction Mariana Bezuhla said that Roman Hladkyi, who was suspected of treason and corruption, and who has no experience of working with UAVs, was appointed to the position of the Chief of Staff of the Command of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Information appeared on the network about the appointment of Roman Hladkyi as the Chief of Staff of the Command of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who not only has no experience of working with unmanned aerial vehicles, but was also suspected of treason, espionage and corruption, and also has a wife with a Russian passport, his daughter competed for Russia. I confirm the appointment," Bezuhla wrote on her Facebook page.

She added that it is not clear how Hladkyi passed the inspection of the Security Service of Ukraine and still holds the highest positions.

"A native of Crimea, a naval captain with such a reputation and never had anything to do with drones!" emphasized the MP.

According to her, the appointment of Hladkyi as the Chief of Staff was a conscious decision by Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"He (Roman Hladkyi) was sent there as an "observer" despite the protests of Vadym Sukharevskyi and his team. This is a typical approach that has been used many times. In particular, the same situation applies to Hnatov, whom the president appointed to lead the front instead of Sodol. Hnatov’s chief of staff is the son of a friend of Sodol, as well as the leaders of the groups (operational-tactical groups) from Sodol and Syrskyi. The crisis and chaos in management on the eastern front now is the result of nepotism, manual control and interference up to the platoon level on the part of Syrskyi in parallel with the withdrawal of units from the Donetsk Region,” said Bezuhla.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the correspondent of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, former head of the public relations service of the Air Force Yurii Ihnat called on the State Bureau of Investigation and the Security Service of Ukraine to deal with the statements of the MP Mariana Bezuhla regarding the loss of the first F-16 fighter jet.
