Rada dismisses Kamyshin

Verkhovna Rada, Cabinet of Ministers, Oleksandr Kamyshin

The Verkhovna Rada dismissed Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister of Strategic Industries.

A total of 243 MPs voted for the project of resolution No. 12006 with the minimum required of 226.

MP from the Holos faction, Yaroslav Zhelezniak, announced this in his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

He held the relevant position from March 21, 2023.

From August 11 to March 2022, he served as the acting chairman of the board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, from April 1, 2022, as the chairman of the board of the company on a permanent basis.

On February 27, the chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia Kamyshin resigned and announced that he will head the European integration office of Ukrzaliznytsia in Europe.

On March 3, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed him as his freelance adviser.

Kamyshin announced in his Telegram channel that after his release he will work in another position related to defense.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada refused to dismiss Vitalii Koval from the position of head of the State Property Fund.
