Rada dismisses Minister of Environmental Protection Strilets

The Verkhovna Rada dismissed Ruslan Strilets from the post of Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.

A total of 244 MPs voted for the draft resolution No. 12005, out of the minimum required 226.

MP from the Holos faction, Yaroslav Zhelezniak, announced this in his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Strilets held the position of the head of the Minister of Environmental Protection from April 14, 2022.

In November 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Strilets Acting Minister of Environmental Protection, in July 2020 he was appointed Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization.

Previously, Strilets held the position of director of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in April 2022, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Strilets as Minister of Environmental Protection.
