Russia's war against Ukraine, AFU, Kursk oblast, operation in Kursk oblast

The Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine talked about the work of the military commander's office, which was created at the end of August in the territory of the Kursk Oblast of the aggressor country of russia under the control of Ukraine.

This is evidenced by the message of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Telegram messenger.

Thus, the military drew attention to the fact that most of the civilians who remained in the part of the Kursk Oblast under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are elderly people.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that these people were abandoned by the russian authorities without means of livelihood.

"Patients are examined every day, and all necessary medical assistance is provided <...> The military commander's office also provides civilians with food and drinking water," the message reads.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized that since the beginning of the operation of Ukrainian forces in the Kursk Oblast, the russian authorities have not created humanitarian corridors that would allow the evacuation of civilians.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 15, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced the creation of the first military commander's office in the Ukrainian-controlled part of the Kursk Oblast.

We will remind, on September 3, MP Oleksandr Merezhko told Ukrainian News Agency that the creation of a military commander's office in the Kursk Oblast does not contradict international law.
