181 combat clashes take place at front during day, the most - in Pokrovsk and Kurakhove Axes - General Staff

On September 5, 181 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked most in the Pokrovsk (51 clashes) and Kurakhove (36 clashes) Axes.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Yesterday, the enemy hit the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas with one missile and 86 airstrikes, dropping 121 guided air bombs.

In addition, the enemy launched more than 4,500 attacks, 125 of them from rocket salvo systems.

On September 5, 181 combat clashes with the russian invaders were recorded at the front.

Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, there were 7 clashes near Starytsia and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk Axis, 15 battles were fought near Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Lozova and Andriyivka.

In the Liman Axis, 17 combat clashes took place near Druzheliubivka, Makiyivka, Nevske, Cherneshchyna and Novosadove.

In the Siversk Axis, 10 battles were fought in the Verkhniokamyanske, Vyimka and Spirne areas.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, 14 combat clashes took place near Chasiv Yar, Predtechyne, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Ivanopil and Klishchiyivka.

16 battles were fought in the Toretsk Axis, in particular, in the Toretsk, Leonydivka, and Nelipivka areas.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 51 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Panteleimonivka, Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Novotroitske, Hrodivka, Myroliubivka, Novohrodivka, Mykhailivka, and Selydove. The greatest concentration of attacks was near Novohrodivka.

In the Kurakhove Axis, the Defense Forces stopped 36 enemy attacks near Lysivka, Ukrainska, Halytsynivka, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, and Kostiantynivka.

In the Vremivka Axis, the russian invaders carried out 11 offensive actions near Vodiane, Kostiantynivka and Vuhledar.

In the Orikhiv Axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy assault near Robotyne.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, the occupiers were also defeated, attacking the defensive lines of our units three times.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy Regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, carries out mortar and artillery attacks on populated areas from the territory of the russian federation.

Last day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces made 15 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and anti-aircraft defense systems of the enemy, and also hit the control post and four air defense vehicles.

The losses of the russian invaders per day amounted to 1,170 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 4, 138 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked most in the Pokrovsk (52 clashes) and Kurakhove (46 clashes) Axes.
