Strategic Industries Minister’s adviser Yaroslav Oliynyk killed in accident together with his wife

On Sunday, September 8, Yaroslav Oliynyk, also known by the nickname "Loki", the adviser to the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, was killed in a road accident together with his wife. He was one of the first members of the renewed team of the Ministry, which he joined directly from the front. The details of the event are unknown.

"Yaroslav Oliynyk died. His other name was Loki. One of the first members of the renewed team of the Ministry of Strategic Industries. He joined us last summer directly from the front line. He was responsible for working with drone manufacturers. I still can't believe it," said the message of the former Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshyn.

He informed that the farewell will take place on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. in St. Michael's Cathedral.

Deputy Minister Hanna Hvozdiar added that Oliynyk got killed at night together with his wife Nina in a road accident.

According to her, after the farewell in St. Michael's Cathedral, the burial will take place in the region.

"Yaroslav was a sincere and cheerful person who devoted his whole – unfortunately, very short life – to the fight against the enemy. This is a great loss for all of us. Loki became my first colleague in the Ministry, he taught me a lot, and I taught him. Sincere condolences to relatives and loved ones. Thank you for your service to the Motherland," she wrote.
