In the city of Noyabrsk, Tyumen Oblast of the russian federation, two children aged 13 and 14 poured gasoline on a Mi-8 helicopter at the local airfield and set it on fire with a lighter. The helicopter burned down, and the children were detained.

It was reported by the russian Telegram resource Baza.

The arson took place on the night of September 11. The guys made their way to the local resort and doused the helicopter with a flammable mixture. One of them lit a cigarette and then threw it into the helicopter. The fire started on the second attempt and caused an explosion. As a result, the children received burns and were hospitalized. The helicopter burned completely.

At the hospital, the boys admitted to the law enforcement officers that they had agreed on the Internet with unknown people to set the helicopter on fire for a monetary reward. Earlier, they had already burned down a cell tower for money. They were promised RUB 5 million for their work.

It is not known who was the customer of the young arsonists.

As Baza writes, the father of one of these kids is currently fighting against Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in August the SSU thwarted attempts by the military intelligence of the aggressor country of the russian federation to create its own intelligence unit in Kyiv. As a result of comprehensive measures, a resident (senior agent) of the russian GRU, who coordinated the executors of "russian orders" in Ukraine, was detained in the capital. The primary task of the cell was to set fire to official cars of the Defense Forces.
