Russian troops launch counteroffensive in Kursk Oblast - media

Russian propaganda Telegram channels announced on Wednesday, September 11, that the army of the aggressor country of russia launched a counteroffensive in the Kursk Oblast.

Thus, a number of channels stated that russian troops started fighting in several settlements in the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation and allegedly occupied at least two of them - Gordeevka and Vnezapnoe. These villages are located four to six kilometers from the Ukrainian border and have been under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since mid-August.

In addition, some Z-publics stated that during the fighting on September 9-10, russian troops allegedly pushed out the Armed Forces of Ukraine from nine settlements in the Kursk Oblast. According to various estimates of these channels, the russian army seems to have returned up to 150 square kilometers of territory.

At the same time, the Ukrainian analytical project DeepState wrote about "the worsening of the situation on the left flank of our grouping in the Kursk Oblast."

According to the project, the russians "began active assault operations, having first transported armored vehicles across the Seim River, and then across smaller rivers."

"Another blow took place from Korenevo, which was lost recently, to Snagost," the message reads.

It is noted that there is no official confirmation of the russian counteroffensive in the Kursk Oblast from either side.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier the heads of the CIA and MI-6 assessed the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk Oblast.
