Over the past day, on September 12, the aggressor country russia lost 1,220 soldiers, 18 tanks, 48 ​​armored fighting vehicles, and 52 artillery systems in the war against Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 12.09.24 approximately amounted to:

• personnel - about 631,420 (+1,220) people;
• tanks – 8,671 (+18) units;
• armored combat vehicles - 17,003 (+48) units;
• artillery systems - 18,061 (+52) units;
• MLRS – 1,185 (+1) units;
• air defense equipment - 945 units;
• aircraft - 369 units;
• helicopters - 328 units;
• UAVs of operational-tactical level – 15,113 (+80) units;
• cruise missiles - 2591 units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• vehicles and tank trucks - 24,560 (+79) units;
• special equipment – 3,071 (+10) units.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in August, the aggressor country russia lost about 36,810 soldiers in Ukraine. Also, the Armed Forces destroyed 6,383 pieces of weapons and military equipment.
