Evidence of yet another war crime committed by the aggressor country russia appeared on social networks — a photo of an unarmed Ukrainian prisoner of war killed with a sword.

Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets reported this on Telegram.

"Another war crime - photos appeared on social media showing how the Russians probably executed an unarmed Ukrainian prisoner of war with a sword with his hands bound with tape. The level of barbarism and bloodthirstiness is unfathomable. Such actions are a gross violation of the Geneva Convention on the Treatment of Prisoners of War," he wrote.

Lubinets wrote that he sent letters to international organizations, the ICRC and the UN, asking them to record yet another violation of human rights by russia.

The Ombudsman added that the russians carry out show executions to demoralize Ukrainian society.

We will remind you that on August 16, a video appeared on social networks in which representatives of the russian armed forces demonstrate the head of an allegedly Ukrainian soldier impaled on a stake.
