On Tuesday, September 17, it is planned to import electricity from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova in the total volume of 16,943 MWh during the day, with the maximum capacity in individual hours up to 1,532 MW.

The press service of the Ukrenergo national energy company has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Recall that on September 16, Ukraine planned to import electricity from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova with a total volume of 18,300 MWh.

Export of electricity does not take place and is not expected.

"Today, September 17, the level of electricity consumption, as of 9:30, was 1.2% higher than at the same time on Monday, September 16. Yesterday, September 16, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was the same as during the previous working day - on Friday, September 13," the message reads.

Ukrenergo urges not to turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the russian occupiers shelled civilian energy infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv and Kherson Regions.
