On September 15, the special forces of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine attacked the russian base in Syria near Aleppo, where the russians manufactured and tested attack UAVs.

The Ukrainian News agency was informed about this by sources in law enforcement agencies.

Fighters of the Defense Intelligence from the ‘Chemis’ group attacked a russian military base in Syria on Sunday, September 15.

The operation took place on the southeastern outskirts of Aleppo.

At this base, russian troops manufactured and tested attack UAVs.

The base was used by the russians to manufacture "camouflaged improvised explosive devices", the warheads of which were stored there.

There was an explosion at the russian facility, followed by the detonation of ammunition.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russian operators of Iranian-made UAVs are being trained in Syria. Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defense Intelligence, spoke about the consequences of the attack on the russian air base in Syria, as well as the attack of the Tuareg rebels on the terrorists of the Wagner PMC. According to him, russia suffered image losses and specific military consequences. In addition, he added, "there will only be more to come."
