Lebanon hit by new series of explosions as phones, laptops and scooters are blown up

The state news agency of Lebanon reported on the deaths due to mass explosions of various devices on the territory of the country.

This was reported by Reuters and CNN on Wednesday, September 18.

According to preliminary information, there were 15 to 20 explosions in the southern suburbs of Beirut and another 15 to 20 explosions in southern Lebanon. Currently, it is known about at least three killed and more than a hundred wounded. Explosions of mobile phones, laptops, tablets and even scooters have been reported from various parts of Lebanon.

"On Wednesday afternoon local time, a second wave of explosions rang out during the funeral of some Hezbollah members, who were killed in the first attack. A video circulating on social media shows an explosion during one of the funerals, as a result of which one security guard of Hezbollah was wounded," Axios writes.

Numerous other explosions were reported in Beirut and across Lebanon, some in apartments and houses.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 17, devices used by the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah to communicate began to explode all over Lebanon at the same time.
