The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, had a telephone conversation with the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of France, Thierry Burkhard.

"We discussed the needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in critical types of weapons, military equipment, ammunition and equipment. Based on the results of the conversation, we agreed on joint efforts to develop Ukrainian-French military cooperation," Syrskyi wrote on Facebook.

He noted that he also informed Burkhard about the current strategic situation and the course of hostilities on various front lines, and focused attention on the war crimes of the russian aggressors: in particular, on the continuation of missile and air strikes on critical infrastructure objects of Ukraine, as well as on indiscriminate mass strikes on civilian objects.
