The russian occupiers want to unblock their troops, who are on the territory of the Aggregate Plant in Vovchansk and, due to the inaccuracy of flamethrower systems, are causing fire damage to their units.

Colonel Vitalii Sarantsev, the spokesman of Kharkiv Operational Tactical Group, told about this on the air of the telethon.

"For this purpose, the enemy periodically strikes both with artillery and uses a heavy flame-throwing system or MLRS. This weaponry is not accurate. Therefore, cases of "friendly fire" occur quite often, when the enemy inflicts fire damage on its units," Sarantsev noted.

He added that the condition of the blocked russian soldiers is difficult. Several dozen occupiers have been blocked at the plant since the very beginning. At first there were 40 of them, during the hostilities this number decreased. Among them there are wounded, but there are also those capable of taking active actions.

"This is a large industrial enterprise. There are a lot of buildings preserved in some places, a lot of underground communications remain, in which it is difficult for the defending party, but it is possible to organize a high-quality defense," said Sarantsev.

This situation has been going on for several months. The occupiers are trying the supply to the blocked unit using UAVs.

"They had their own system in place regarding supplies. Therefore, of course, we cannot put up with this for a long time. We cannot keep such a hostile in our rear. Therefore, certain actions are now being carried out in order to completely eliminate it," added the spokesman of the Kharkiv Group.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, a group of russian invaders has been blocked for several months in the city of Vovchansk in the north of the Kharkiv Region, where hostilities have been ongoing since the beginning of May.
