During the massive shelling of Ukraine on July 31, russian terrorists used a North Korean-made ballistic missile from the territory of the russian federation. The missile was launched in the direction of Bila Tserkva, but it fell on the territory of the Kyiv Region, probably after an explosion in the air, and did not reach the target.

"At the crash site of this missile, debris was found with markings, which correspond to the previously discovered remains of ballistic missiles of the KN-23 type, which the Russian Federation used for strikes on Ukraine in early 2024, photos of which were obtained by Defense Express," the message says.

Prior to this, the last time russia used North Korean-made KN-23 ballistic missiles to strike Ukraine was on February 27, 2024. The pause between the use of these missiles was 5 months.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of July 30-31, the occupiers launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, using 89 drones. Air defense forces shot down all the drones and a Kh-59 missile.

On July 29, analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) said that russia is exchanging food for lethal weapons in North Korea.

Recall, at the end of June, a number of mass media reported that North Korea allegedly intends to send its engineering troops to the occupied territories of Ukraine.
