Government introducing experiment on automation of military accounting - Reintegration Ministry

The Cabinet of Ministers is introducing an experiment on automatic verification and check of information about conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists.

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

In particular, it is reported that today at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers the resolution "On the implementation of an experimental project on automatic verification and check of information about conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists" was adopted.

It is about several important aspects:

Military registration for conscripts

Men between the ages of 17 and 25 must be registered with the military without passing a military medical commission (MMC). This applies both to those who live in Ukraine and to those who are abroad.

Verification of documents abroad

We are talking about men aged 18 to 60 who are abroad and apply for Ukrainian or foreign passports. They will undergo verification of the validity of their military registration documents through the Trembita state electronic system.

Entering into the register

Men between the ages of 16 and 25, who live in Ukraine and apply for a passport, will be entered into the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons Liable for Military Service and Reservists without passing a MMC.

This also applies to those who are abroad and apply for the registration or receipt of a passport at Ukrainian embassies abroad.

List of citizens

A list of male citizens of Ukraine aged 16 to 60, whose data must be entered into the Register and who are subject to military registration, will be formed.

The Ministry of Reintegration notes that the innovations will contribute to the optimization and identification of information in the Register.

In turn, the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, reported on his Telegram channel that it is about the implementation of an experimental project on automatic verification and heck of information about conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists during a year, and the procedure for the implementation of the experimental project has been approved.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the two-month period during which men had to update their military registration data expired on July 16.

The Cabinet of Ministers has established that men abroad who have not updated their military registration data will not be able to obtain or exchange a driver's license.

The Cabinet of Ministers also allowed Ukrainians abroad to register with the military through diplomatic missions, and territorial recruitment and social support centers - to send e-reports to the police about violators.
