Russian occupiers attack Ukraine with drones; Ukraine's Air Defense worked in 8 regions

Overnight into August 19, 2024, the russian invaders again attacked Ukraine.

The russians struck with 11 attack UAVs of the Shahed type from the area of Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, russia.

"As a result of anti-aircraft combat by the mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, anti-aircraft missile units, aviation and EW means of the Air Force, all enemy UAVs were shot down in the Mykolayiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Donetsk Regions," the message reads.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, overnight into August 16, the aggressor state russia attacked the territory of Ukraine with 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, three Shaheds, and two unmanned aerial vehicles of an unknown type. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 5 UAVs.

Also, last night, the enemy struck with 3 Kh-59 guided air missiles and 29 Shahed-type UAVs. Air defense forces shot down all the Shaheds.

In particular, the army of the aggressor country, russia, fired at critical infrastructure facilities in the Kherson Region. The enemy also hit houses, a gas pipeline, and a car.
