Almost million Ukrainians booked from mobilization — Defense Ministry

The number of Ukrainians liable for military service who were booked from mobilization has reached 930,000 people and is constantly growing. In just a week, Ukraine will have a million booked.

The Deputy Minister of Defense Ivan Havryluk announced this during the discussion "Legislative approaches to the booking of employees of enterprises," Forbes reports.

They specified that there is a need for soldiers in the Armed Forces even now, while it takes three to six months to train a mobilized person. In addition, Havryluk emphasized that some Ukrainians should still work. At the same time, the Ukrainian economy has not been transferred to the "rails of war".

At the same time, the russian occupiers continue to bring mobilized persons and conscripts. It is expected that there will be 800,000 of them by the end of the year.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 5, the Verkhovna Rada's Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence supported a bill, which proposes to grant a deferment to men liable for military service under 25 years of age.

In some cases, men aged 18 to 25 may be mobilized.
