The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, announced this on the United News telethon.

Thus, Kravchenko confirmed that the Kyiv HEPP did not suffer significant damage. He added that traffic on the dam will be restored in the near future.

Also, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration emphasized that currently energy companies are working on restoring electricity supply to the residents of the region.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Andrii Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, stated that as a result of the massive russian attack on August 26, there is no threat to the Kyiv HEPP’s dam, and it is impossible to destroy it with missiles.

At the same time, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the russian attack on Ukraine on August 26, a combined attack and one of the largest, aimed at critical civilian infrastructure.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported that 15 regions were affected today, August 26, as a result of a massive russian attack, and the energy infrastructure was once again the target of russian terrorists.
