Okhmatdyt Charitable Foundation not paying for goods or services for hospital yet

Okhmatdyt, restoration of Okhmatdyt, Okhmatdyt Charitable Foundation

The Okhmatdyt Charitable Foundation does not yet pay for goods or services for the hospital.

Yevhen Solodko, a member of the supervisory board of the Charitable Foundation, said this in an interview with the Ukrainian News agency.

"Currently, there are no such orders and there are no such requests. You understand what happened with that unfortunate tender. I think that when the situation is resolved, the Foundation will return to normal work," Solodko said.

The lawyer added that the Charitable Foundation was created exactly to help the hospital, because there is not enough state funding.

He also noted that the new head of the Okhmatdyt hospital, Oleksandr Urin, enjoys the trust of his colleagues and the Foundation hopes to cooperate with him.

"Regarding cooperation, I know that there was a discussion of the question of how the financing will be carried out. We expressed our position on this issue," Solodko noted.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Yevhen Solodko, a member of the Supervisory Board of the Okhmatdyt Charitable Foundation, stated that the Deputy Minister of Health exceeded his authority when he asked in a letter the Charitable Foundation to transfer almost UAH 400 million for the restoration of Okhmatdyt. The Okhmatdyt Charitable Foundation did not transfer the UAH 380 million collected for the repair of the hospital due to the prohibition of anti-corruption agents.
