White House advises putin not to interfere in American elections

Russian dictator vladimir putin must stop meddling in American elections.

This is how the White House reacted to the Kremlin head's public support for Vice President Kamala Harris.

US National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator, John Kirby, during a conversation with journalists commented on putin's words that he "prefers" the candidacy of Vice President Kamala Harris in the election race.

He emphasized that the head of the Kremlin "must stop talking about elections, and the point."

"He shouldn't favor anyone one way or the other. The only people who should decide who will be the next President of the United States are the American people. And we would greatly appreciate it if mr. putin would: A) stop talking about our elections; B) stopped interfering with them," Kirby said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in July of this year, American intelligence revealed how russia is trying to influence the upcoming presidential elections with the help of influence operations.

The day before, it became known that US presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris agreed to hold a debate on September 10.
