187 combat clashes take place at front during the day – AFU operational update

During the past 24 hours, 187 combat clashes were recorded. The russians stormed the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove axes the most. Operational information as of 08:00 a.m. on September 7 was published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to detailed information, yesterday the enemy launched two missile strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and population centers using six missiles, as well as 74 airstrikes, dropping 87 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it fired more than 4,200 shots, 129 of them from multiple launch rocket systems.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes in the areas of population centers, in particular, Bezdryk, Malushyne, Yunakivka, Boiaro-Lezhachi, Yampil and Rivne of the Sumy Region; Mali Prokhody, Popivka, Petropavlivka, Kharkiv Region; Stelmakhivka, Luhansk Region; Toretsk, Druzhba, Oleksandropil, Pokrovsk, Novodmytrivka, Yelyzavetivka, Bohoiavlenka of the Donetsk Region Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhia Region; Burhunka, Tiahynka, Sadove, Odradokamianka, Rakivka and Kozatske of the Kherson Region.

Six battles were fought on the Kharkiv axis. The defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Vovchansk and Lyptsi.

There were 27 skirmishes on the Kupiansk axis, in particular, near Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Andriivka, Berestove and Stelmakhivka.

On the Lyman axis, according to detailed information, the enemy attacked 17 times near Novoiehorivka, Druzheliubivka, Cherneshchyna, Terny, Torske, Dibrova, and Makiivka.

There were five combat clashes on the Siversk axis. Ukrainian defenders repelled the assaults of the russian invaders near Verkhniokamianske and Spirne.

On the Kramatorsk axis, eight battles were fought in the districts of Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar and Andriivka.

On the Toretsk axis, the russians attacked 10 times near Toretsk, Nelipivka and Niu York.

On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders repelled 49 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Oleksandropil, Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Novotroitske, Hrodivka, Novohrodivka, and Mykhailivka. The greatest concentration of attacks was near Novohrodivka, Hrodivka and Mykhailivka.

On the Kurakhove axis, the Defense Forces repulsed 46 enemy attacks near Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, and Heorhiivka.

On the Vremivka axis, the enemy advanced nine times in the direction of Vodiane and Staromaiorske.

On the Orikhiv axis, russian troops carried out one assault on the positions of Ukrainian units near Mala Tokmachka.

On the Dnieper axis, the enemy was defeated, attacking the defensive lines of the Ukrainians nine times.

On the Huliaipole axis, the situation has not changed much. No signs of the formation of offensive groups of the enemy were detected on the Volyn and Polissia axes.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy Regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, carries out mortar and artillery attacks on population centers from the territory of the russian federation.

At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy along the entire line of battle.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, during the past day the Defense Forces "destroyed" 1,270 russian occupiers at the front.
