Time has come for discussions on how to achieve peace in Ukraine - Scholz

Germany will do everything to support Ukraine. Now is the moment to discuss how peace can be achieved more quickly.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said this in an interview with ZDF on Sunday, September 8.

Scholz emphasized that this government will fulfill all the tasks that are currently at stake. According to him, he will do everything to "support Ukraine”, but some citizens do not agree with the fact that Germany supports Ukraine.

"I think now is the moment when we also need to discuss how we can get out of this situation of war and achieve peace faster than it seems now," Scholz said.

The Chancellor of Germany said that he supports the participation of the aggressor country of russia in the second "Peace Summit". He agreed on this with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Scholz said.
