164 combat clashes take place during day. General Staff speaks about situation at front

During the past day, 164 combat clashes were recorded. The Pokrovsk and Kurakhove axes remain the most difficult - here the Defense Forces repelled more than 60 enemy assaults per day.

This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Thus, the enemy carried out 73 airstrikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and population centers (including 94 air defense systems), carried out 4,770 attacks, more than 190 of them from multiple launch rocket systems.

On the Kharkiv axis, the enemy continued its assault. Here there were 5 combat clashes.

On the Kupiansk axis, the number of skirmishes was 15. The defense forces repelled enemy assaults.

On the Lyman axis, our troops repelled 12 assaults by the occupiers.

On the Siversk axis, the Defense Forces repelled 10 attacks.

On the Kramatorsk axis, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 10 attempts by the enemy to break through our defenses.

On the Toretsk axis, the enemy, with the support of aviation, carried out 24 attacks.

On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders repelled 39 attacks.

On the Kurakhove axis, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enem. In total, the invaders tried to break through the defense of our troops in this axis 30 times.

On the Vremivsk axis, the occupiers launched 4 attacks on our positions in the Vodyanyi axis. The enemy had no success.

On the Orikhiv axis, there were 2 combat clashes unsuccessful for the enemy.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected on the Volyn and Polissia axes. Operational situation remains without significant changes.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy Regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, intensified aviation activity - from the territory of the russian federation

"Our soldiers continue to actively inflict significant losses in equipment and manpower on the occupation forces, exhaust the offensive potential of the enemy along the entire front line and in the rear," the message reads.

In particular, over the past 24 hours, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces have carried out 11 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and anti-aircraft missiles, hit two artillery systems and one anti-aircraft unit of the russian invaders.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, meanwhile, on the night of September 9, Air Defense Forces and means destroyed all russian attack drones that threatened Kyiv on the approaches to the capital.
