Belarus trying to suppress information about russian UAVs on its territory - State Border Guard Service

Earlier in Belarus, they claimed that "Ukrainian drones were allegedly flying towards them". On the other hand, when the Shaheds fly to them, they try to keep it quiet.

The spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andrii Demchenko announced this on the air of the telethon.

Currently, the State Border Guard Service does not note any actions on the part of Belarus near our border when unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) fly into Belarusian territory, he noted.

"But, of course, we generally monitor what is happening deep within the territory of Belarus, as far as it can be threatening for Ukraine," Demchenko added.

Commenting on the "lost" Shaheds on the territory of Belarus, Demchenko will recall how Aleksandr Lukashenko once accused Ukraine of allegedly violating the airspace by drones and the created "threats" to their country. On the other hand, when the Shaheds fly to them, Belarus tries to quietly hide this information.

"And they just say that they are conducting some kind of "check" or "were forced" to shoot down UAVs. And in this case, for some reason, they don't try to shift the responsibility to Ukraine, but talk about it already when they can't hide the fact that russian UAVs are flying to their territory as well," Demchenko explained.

In recent months, the drones of the russian invaders have repeatedly violated the airspace of Belarus and got "lost" on its territory. This happened during the attack on the night of September 4 and the night of August 31.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of September 8, a group of attack drones of the aggressor state of russia violated the airspace of Romania during the attack on Ukraine.

On the night of September 8, the air defense forces destroyed 15 of 23 Shahed-type attack UAVs and 1 of 4 Kh-59 guided air missiles over Ukraine.
