Russia attacks energy facilities in 6 regions of Ukraine

The russian occupiers shelled civilian energy infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv Regions.

This was announced by the Ministry of Energy, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, in the Donetsk Region, as a result of shelling of a substation, equipment was damaged, several substations and household consumers were cut off.

Currently, power has been partially restored.

In the Sumy Region, as a result of the drone attack, there were power outages in the substation and overhead lines, as well as household and industrial consumers.

"In the Chernihiv Region, as a result of shelling, power was cut off at substations, household consumers, and local industry. Power has been restored according to a backup scheme. In the Kyiv Region, during an inspection, an explosive object was discovered on the territory of a substation. It was removed," the message says.

In total, due to hostilities and technical violations, as of the morning of Thursday, September 12, 602 settlements remain without electricity.

At the same time, 29 settlements in the Kyiv Region and 29 settlements in the Odesa Region were cut off due to the passage of the thunderstorm front.

Last day, the power industry restored power to 30,368 consumers who were cut off as a result of hostilities and technological violations.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 10, the russian occupiers shelled civilian energy infrastructure in the Donetsk, Poltava, Sumy, and Kharkiv Regions.
