In January-June 2024, the lifecell mobile operator (formerly Astelit) increased its its Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) by 4.6%, or by UAH 0.153 billion, to UAH 3.473 billion compared to the same period last year.

This is stated in the company's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

At the same time, during the specified period, the revenues increased by 13.3% to UAH 6.336 billion.

In the first half of the year, the company increased its net profit by 7.6% to UAH 1.213 billion.

Over the specified period, the company's capital investments increased by 2.5% to UAH 2.136 billion.

In the first half of the year, compared to the same period last year, the number of the company's subscribers increased by 14% to 9.8 million.

The three-month ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) decreased by 0.7% to UAH 107.9, and the indicator of the 12-month active MoU (Minutes of Use) - by 10.5% to 146.5 minutes.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2023 the company increased its net profit by 2.6 times, or by UAH 1.6 billion, to UAH 2.568 billion.

In September, French billionaire Xavier Niel bought lifecell and Datagroup-Volia.
