Cabinet proposes Rada to reduce financing of services for Zelenskyy and President's Office in 2025 by 30%

The Cabinet of Ministers proposes to the Verkhovna Rada to reduce funding for the activities of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Office of the President in 2025 by 30% to UAH 782.3 million from UAH 1,122.6 million in 2024.

This is stated in the bill 12000 on the state budget for 2025, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Thus, UAH 782.3 million are provided for the maintenance and organizational, information-analytical, material and technical support of the activities of the President of Ukraine and the Office of the President of Ukraine for 2025.

In general, the funding of the State Management of Affairs is proposed to be increased by 17% in 2025 to UAH 3,670 million from 2024 to UAH 3,139.2 million in 2024.

At the same time, UAH 512.8 million are allocated to support the activities of enterprises, institutions and organizations of the State Management of Affairs (in 2024, there was no such separate line).

UAH 171 million are provided for the production of state awards and commemorative signs, as in 2024.

It is proposed to allocate UAH 148.7 million (in 2024 - UAH 152.3 million) for financial support of sanatorium-resort facilities and health facilities of the State Management of Affairs system.

Scientific and scientific and technical activities in the field of public administration, strategic problems of domestic and foreign policy, and health care provide financing for UAH 108.1 million (UAH 69.8 million in 2024).

UAH 147.9 million (2024 - UAH 141.1 million) are provided for the preservation of the nature reserve fund in national nature parks and reserves.

Provision of medical services by medical institutions of the State Management of Affairs - UAH 1,666.6 million (2024 - UAH 1,340.2 million)

Financial support of cultural and art institutions - UAH 61.6 million (2024 - UAH 77.1 million)

UAH 4.9 million (UAH 4 million in 2024) are provided for the payment of state bonuses of Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 14, the Cabinet of Ministers submitted the state budget for 2025 to the Verkhovna Rada for approval, in particular, it proposes to increase funding for national security and defense in 2025 to 26.3% of GDP.
