Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that since he took office at the end of July, his country has not transferred weapons to russia.

This is reported by Radio Svoboda.

Pezeshkian emphasized that possible deliveries could have taken place earlier, but no such actions had taken place under his leadership.

"It is quite possible that supplies took place in the past. But I can assure you that since I took office, there have been no such supplies to Russia," he said.

At the same time, according to him, Iran and russia "have the right to maintain relations". The Iranian president added that the war in Ukraine was provoked by NATO countries, "violating the promise not to expand to the east."

Recall that Germany, France and the UK promised Iran sanctions for the supply of missiles to russia.

Earlier, the Pentagon confirmed that Iran had transferred a certain number of short-range ballistic missiles to russia. These are Fath 360 missiles.

On September 6, The Wall Street Journal wrote that the United States warned its allies that Iran had transferred ballistic missiles to russia.

Back in August, the Reuters agency reported that dozens of russian military personnel had arrived in Iran for training on Iranian missiles.
