At night, Ukrainian drones attacked a military unit in the Toropets district of the Tver Oblast of the russian federation, where ammunition was stored. After the hit, a fire and explosions started.

In Toropets, there are military units 54169 TT and 11777. The latter, among other things, had 122-mm rockets for Grads and 82-mm artillery mines. Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD), says that Iskander missiles and North Korean KN23 missiles could also be stored there.

Footage of a fire and strong explosions accompanied by fiery "mushrooms" appeared online.

NASA satellites recorded thermal indicators on almost the entire territory of the 107th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation, where the fire occurred.

The Ministry of Defense of the russian federation announced that it allegedly managed to shoot down 54 Ukrainian drones overnight. Of them, 27 - over Kursk, 16 - over Bryansk, 7 - over Smolensk, 3 - over Belgorod and 1 - over Oryol Oblasts. On the other hand, the authorities say nothing about the Tver Oblast, where warehouses with ammunition have been burning since the night after the attack.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a fire broke out in the town of Toropets in the Tver Oblast of russia on the night of September 18. The mass media reported on drone attacks and air defense operations in the region.

A series of explosions rang out near the russian airfield Engels, a fire broke out.
