The ammunition warehouse of the russian army in the area of the town of Toropets, Tver Oblast, which was destroyed by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine last night, had to withstand a missile strike or the impressive factors of a nuclear explosion.

This is evidenced by the message of the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country of russia from June 2018.

Almost exactly six years ago, on June 2, 2018, the then Deputy Minister of Defense of the russian federation Dmitry Bulgakov visited the ammunition arsenal under construction in Toropets.

Then Bulgakov said that the ammunition warehouse meets the highest international standards.

"It ensures their reliable and safe storage, protects against air and missile strikes and even against the impact factors of a nuclear explosion," Bulgakov said at the time.

According to available information, the russians stored Iskander-M and KN-23 ballistic missiles near Toropets. There were also ammunition for rocket artillery and mortars.

As a result of the attack, a large-scale fire started in the warehouse, accompanied by frequent detonations of ammunition.

Let's add that the plume from the fire at the warehouse near Toropets was so large that it was noticed from space.
