The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will visit Ukraine tomorrow, September 20, and meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

She announced this on September 19 in Brussels, BFM TV reports.

Thus, Ursula von der Leyen emphasized that the European Union wants, in particular, to "help" Kyiv survive the winter in terms of energy.

The President of the European Commission announced this against the background of the International Energy Agency sounding the alarm over difficulties with energy supply in Ukraine, which this winter is facing "the most serious challenge" since the russian invasion.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Cabinet admits that this winter will be the hardest for Ukraine.

Russian occupiers seized 18 GW of Ukrainian generation.

Meanwhile, the mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for the first time visited an electrical substation in Ukraine, which is important for nuclear safety.
