As a result of a Ukrainian drone attack on a depot in Toropets, Tver Oblast of the russian federation, near the Estonian border, the aggressor state lost a supply of ammunition for 2-3 months.

This was stated by the head of the intelligence center of the Estonian Defense Forces, Colonel Ants Kiviselg, ERR reports.

Thus, Kiviselg said that additional ammunition was transported by train to the warehouse shortly before the attack. After the attack, the munitions in the depot detonated together with the bunkers and warehouses.

"30,000 tons of ammunition were detonated, which is 750,000 shells. If we take the average pace of hostilities, then the russian federation launched 10,000 shells per week. That is, this is a supply of ammunition for two to three months. As a result of this attack, russia suffered losses in ammunition, and we will see the impact of these losses on the front in the coming weeks," he said.

We will remind, on the night of September 18, the 107th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate in the town of Toropets, Tver Oblast, was attacked by Ukrainian drones.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to available information, the russians stored Iskander-M and KN-23 ballistic missiles near Toropets. There were also ammunition for rocket artillery and mortars.

As a result of the attack, a large-scale fire started in the warehouse, accompanied by frequent detonations of ammunition. A series of earthquakes occurred as a result of the detonation of ammunition at the ammunition depot of the russian army in the town of Toropets, Tver Oblast.

The plume from the fire at the warehouse near Toropets was so large that it was noticed from space.
