Units of the 95th Separate Air Assault Polissia Brigade broke through one of the sections of the russian border in the Kursk Oblast.

It was reported in the Air Assault Forces.

"This is already the second successful operation to breach the Russian border since the beginning of the operation in the territory of the Kursk Oblast of the Russian Federation," the post reads.

The fighters also showed how a new border breakthrough took place. According to the Air Assault Brigade, the video recorded the making of passages in engineering barriers, the landing of air assault units on enemy territory and the first battles in the border strip, where the Air Assault Brigade tankers "dismantle" the enemy's stronghold.

It is not specified when exactly the breakthrough took place and which section of the border with the russian federation is in question.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 12 it became known that russian troops launched a large-scale counteroffensive in the Kursk Oblast.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, then stated that the russian counteroffensive in the Kursk Oblast is part of the Ukrainian plan.

A day earlier, on September 18, the military commandant's office established in the Kursk Oblast reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to stop the russian counteroffensive.
