Oleksii Honcharenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the European Solidarity faction, said that men of limited fitness under the age of 25 were prohibited from mobilizing.

He wrote about this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Everyone of limited fitness, whom they are currently trying to mobilize and who is under the age of 25 - good news. There is a directive prohibiting conscription under the age of 25. Source data - MD KSV 116/2/1/21409 dated 19.09.2024 on the non-conscription under the age of 25 – point 1.1," he wrote.

According to him, the text of the directive itself cannot be published, as it is under the seal of secrecy.

"But the data is there. We continue the fight for those who have already been mobilized. We will push for demobilization. It is very difficult," Honcharenko added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will stop mobilizing men of limited fitness aged 18 to 25.

The Rada adopted in the first reading bill No. 11379-d, which proposes to grant a deferment to persons liable for military service under the age of 25, who are deemed unfit for military service in peacetime, partially fit in wartime due to their health.
