Men aged 50-60 can be mobilized only under separate mobilization order - MP Honcharenko

The Member of the Verkhovna Rada from the European Solidarity faction Oleksii Honcharenko said that men aged 50-60 can be mobilized only under a separate mobilization order.

He wrote about this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Men aged 50-60 can be mobilized only under a separate mobilization order. Know your rights. And you can refer to this directive," he said.

Honcharenko claims that the directive of the Command of the Ground Forces to the Operational Commands and to territorial recruitment and social support centers 116/2/1/21409 dated 19.09.2024 stipulates that mobilization is possible only for men from 25 to 49 years of age.

"A separate mobilization order means that such an order has been issued by the General Staff in relation to a SPECIFIC man. With the indication of all data, which must be presented to this man. That is, busification of men aged 50-60 is prohibited," he added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Honcharenko claims that men of limited fitness under the age of 25 were prohibited from mobilizing.
