Boxer Oleksandr Khyzhniak wins gold at 2024 Olympics

Late in the evening in Paris at the Olympic Games, Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Khyzhniak defeated Kazakhstan's Nurbek Oralbay and won the third gold medal.

For the second time in his career, Khyzhniak made it to the finals of the Olympic Games in the weight category up to 80 kg.

This Olympic medal was the athlete's first gold. But in 2020, Khyzhniak already won a silver medal at the Olympics in Tokyo in the weight category up to 75 kg.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Oksana Livach was unable to win the bronze medal of the 2024 Olympic Games in freestyle wrestling in the weight category up to 50 kg. The athlete lost to her opponent from Japan Yui Susaki with a score of 0:10.
