Additional border crossing to be temporarily opened in Lviv Region

In the Lviv Region, the Korczmin - Staivka border crossing will be temporarily opened.

The press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that the opening of the temporary border crossing will take place on August 16-17 as part of the European Days of Good Neighborhood.

"Citizens who wish to take part in the program presented by the organizers will be able to cross the border at the temporary crossing point in the Belz community, which will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on August 16 and from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on August 17," the message reads.

Border guards will allow people to cross the state border of Ukraine on foot.

Recall that the movement through the Dorohusk-Yahodyn crossing on the Polish-Ukrainian border will be significantly complicated for three months due to the repair of the road surface in the area of ​​the border crossing on the territory of Poland.

Meanwhile, more than 40,000 Ukrainian citizens returned to their homeland, crossing the border with the russian federation.
