The SBI has announced this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

On August 25, the Prosecutor General informed Dmytruk of the suspicion that he had participated in attacks on citizens, including a law enforcement officer, attempted theft of firearms, etc.

According to the SBI investigation, during his stay in Odesa, the suspect, together with his accomplices, attacked an employee of a law enforcement agency, who was performing his official duties at that time. At the same time, the MP intentionally caused bodily harm to a law enforcement officer and tried to steal his weapon.

In another case - in Kyiv, the MP had a dispute with one of the citizens, during which he hit the man several times, including in the head.

According to the expert's opinion, as a result of the illegal actions of the MP, the victim suffered moderate injuries.

The MP is suspected of: intentionally inflicting light bodily injuries on an employee of a law enforcement agency by a group of persons in connection with the performance of official duties by this employee (Part 1 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine); theft of firearms by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 15, Part 1 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 262 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine); intentional infliction of bodily injuries of moderate severity (Part 1 of Article 122 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine); gross violation of public order on the grounds of clear disrespect for society, which was accompanied by special audacity (Part 1 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Procedural management is carried out by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, stands for stripping the mandate of fugitive MP Artem Dmytruk, specifically, in accordance with Article 81 of the Constitution.

The State Bureau of Investigation admitted that MP Artem Dmytruk illegally crossed the border and left for Moldova.
