On the night of September 12, a russian Shahed drone flew in the immediate vicinity of the Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant.

Serhii Tiurin, head of the Khmelnytskyi regional military administration, announced this.

"Today, during a night attack, a flight of a russian attack UAV of the Shahed type was recorded in the immediate vicinity of the Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant," the message reads.

It is indicated that this drone was later shot down by the air defense forces of Ukraine.

"Russia deliberately lays out the routes of missiles and attack drones so that they pass, in particular, over the nuclear facilities of Ukraine, this is not the first time. This is part of russian terrorist tactics," the head of the Regional Military Administration emphasized.

He drew attention to the fact that this is why Ukraine is so actively appealing to its partners to strengthen air defense and increase pressure on the aggressor state of russia.

"And it is important that it is clear at all levels - the strengthening of Ukraine's air shield protects everyone who values life. I thank the air defense forces for their effective work and elimination of the threat to critical infrastructure facilities," he emphasized.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of September 12, radio engineering troops of the Air Force detected and escorted 69 enemy air attack vehicles (as of 9:00 a.m.).

In particular, the russian occupiers attacked the Khmelnytskyi Region with drones. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in the furniture storage warehouse.

In addition, the army of the russian aggressor country massively attacked Konotop. Many wounded, the city without electricity and water.
