Air defense forces shoot down 24 enemy Shaheds at night

On the night of Friday, September 13, russian troops launched 26 Shahed attack drones over the territory of Ukraine, the air defense forces managed to shoot down 24 drones, as of 9:00 a.m. one of the Shaheds was still in the airspace of Ukraine, combat work continued.

The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that at night the enemy attacked Ukraine with 26 Shaheds from the regions of Primorsko-Akhtarsk (russia) and Cape Chauda (Crimea).

"As a result of anti-aircraft combat by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, units of mobile fire groups and electronic warfare units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, 24 enemy attack UAVs were shot down within the Mykolaiv, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi and Ivano-Frankivsk Regions," the message reads.

As of 9:00 a.m., one enemy UAV still remained in the airspace, combat operations continued.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of September 12, the russians launched 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, 1 Kh-59/69 guided aerial missile, 2 Kh-22/32 cruise missiles and 64 attack UAVs over Ukraine, and the air defense forces managed to destroy 44 drones.
