Already second region of russia introducing fines for publishing videos with Ukrainian drones on Internet

Russia, Russia's war against Ukraine, UAVs, Kaluga Oblast

The authorities of the Kaluga Oblast of the aggressor country of russia introduced fines for publishing photos or videos with Ukrainian drones on the Internet. This is the second region of the russian federation to introduce a similar practice.

The governor of the Kaluga Oblast, Vladislav Shapsha, announced this on September 19.

According to him, on the initiative of the regional leadership, the local legislative assembly approved the establishment of administrative responsibility for non-implementation of the decisions of the operational headquarters.

"In particular, this concerns the ban on posting information, photos, and videos of enemy drones in mass media and social networks," Shapsha wrote.

He also called on residents of the Kaluga Oblast to report to the law enforcement agencies about those who published materials with Ukrainian drones on the Internet.

The Kaluga Oblast became the second region of the russian federation where residents were threatened with liability for publishing photos or videos depicting Ukrainian drones or the consequences of their attack.

Previously, residents of the Tver Oblast were threatened with criminal cases for the distribution of such materials.

It will be recalled that the reason for this was Ukraine's attack on one of the largest arsenals of the russian army near the town of Toropets.

On the territory of this facility, in addition to ammunition for rocket artillery and mortars, the russians stored ballistic missiles Iskander-M and KN-23.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the drone attack led to a large-scale fire and several detonations that caused at least 16 local earthquakes.

The explosion and the subsequent spread of smoke from the large-scale fire were visible from space.
