On September 21, the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out two long-range strikes against enemy arsenals in the Tver Oblast and Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation, which ended in detonation and their destruction, the Defense Express portal reports.

The targets of the strikes were the 23rd arsenal of the Main Missile Artillery Command of the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation near the village of Oktyabrsky in the Tver region and the 719th artillery ammunition base near Tikhoretsk in the Krasnodar Krai, where North Korean shells were transported.

The 23rd arsenal of the Main Missile Artillery Command of the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation is located only 16 km south of the already destroyed 107th arsenal near the town of Toropets, where there was an attack a few days ago, on September 18, Defense Express notes.

The range of this strike from the border with Ukraine was about 450 km.

The 23rd arsenal is one of the seven known arsenals of the Main Missile Artillery Command in the conditional 750-km zone from Ukraine.

The range of ammunition that was stored on it on a total area of 2.6 sq. km is currently unknown. But this arsenal hardly exists anymore. In particular, NASA's fire monitoring service shows a large-scale fire engulfing it.

That night, the 719th base of artillery ammunition was destroyed near Tikhoretsk in the Krasnodar Krai.

This, compared to the 23rd arsenal of the Main Missile Artillery Command, is a small ammunition storage base with a total area of 1 sq. km, especially since it stored not only ammunition, but also artillery systems. It is about 300 km from the front line to it.

At the same time, given its location, this base obviously plays a huge role for the southern and eastern groups of the enemy. Because current satellite images show an increase in ammunition shelters in the same area between 2022 and 2024.

That is, the concentration of ammunition at this object could be much higher and exceed any norms. What's more, it was to this base that some of the artillery munitions from the DPRK were brought, Defense Express notes. Their route was investigated by Frontelligence Insight's OSINT group in January 2024. And it was the 719th base near Tykhoretsk, together with a warehouse near the village of Yegorlytske in the Rostov Oblast and Mozdok in North Ossetia, that were the place of their storage.
