In the russian city of Toropets, after a massive attack on a warehouse with ammunition and missiles, they have been unable to extinguish the fire for the second day. Also, instead of one of the warehouses adjacent to the railway tracks in Toropets, a gap with a diameter of about 100 meters was noticed.

This is evidenced by the latest satellite images, the Telegram channel Operational AFU reports.

In the warehouse, which was located next to the station - and now there is a hundred-meter gap (coordinates 56°30'28.52"N 31°41'48.97"E), the fire is no longer visible. The building was probably filled with ballistic missiles.

The local government maintains contact with the population only through posts on social networks. The official version is that the website of the district administration was hacked by hackers. That is why not everyone learned about the evacuation announced in the city. However, there were practically no people left in the city, the locals evacuated on their own.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of September 18, the 107th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate in the city of Toropets, Tver Oblast, was attacked by Ukrainian drones.

According to available information, the russians stored Iskander-M and KN-23 ballistic missiles near Toropets. There was also ammunition for rocket artillery and mortars.

As a result of the attack, a large-scale fire started in the warehouse, accompanied by frequent detonations of ammunition.

The detonation was so strong that it caused a series of local earthquakes. The strength of the most powerful shock was 2.8 points.

The plume from the fire at the warehouse near Toropets was so large that it was noticed from space.
