Court grants access to all of Farion's phone calls for 1.5 years

The Halytskyi District Court of Lviv granted access to all telephone connections of professor and linguist Iryna Farion for 1.5 years.

This is evidenced by court materials, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The deputy head of the Department of Investigation of Crimes Committed Against the Life and Health of a Person of the Investigative Directorate of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Lviv Region appealed to the court with a petition agreed with the deputy head of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office in criminal proceedings on the grounds of a criminal offense provided for in Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on providing temporary access to data that contains a secret protected by law, in particular information about all telephone connections for the time period from January 01, 2023 to the day of the actual implementation of this decision, made by Farion from a mobile phone.

On July 23, the court granted such access and obliged the mobile operator to provide the investigation with all necessary information about calls for 2023-2024.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the police investigation published a complete list of property with which the linguist and professor Iryna Farion was going to go to the sea, but was killed.

The court seized a foreign passport, a sewing kit, apartment keys, USD 200 and 2 pairs of underpants belonging to Farion.
