In case of murder of Farion, police find workpiece for gun silencer during search

In the case of the murder of Lviv Polytechnic professor Iryna Farion, during the search, the police found a workpiece for a silencer for a firearm.

This is evidenced by court materials, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

After searching one of the persons involved in the case, the police investigator appealed to the court with a request to arrest the seized muffler.

The equipment for the muffler was found on August 14 during a search of the garage used by the figurehead.

A workpiece for a muffler, a metal drill and a metal cutter were found.

The court, by its decision, seized this property.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the police found a FORT pistol during a search in the case of Farion's murder.

The investigation into the murder of Professor Iryna Farion expanded the circle of those involved, as the suspect Vyacheslav Zinchenko did not act alone.
