North Korean ballistic missiles KN23, as well as artillery rounds and ammunition for Smerch were stored at the arsenal in the Tikhoretsky district of the Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation, which detonated today after a drone attack.

Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC), reported this.

"The warehouse in the Tikhoretsky district of the russian federation was demilitarized. It also stored North Korean KN23, as well as artillery rounds and ammunition for the Smerch," Kovalenko wrote.

"The concentration of ammunition at this facility could have been much higher and exceeded any norms. Moreover, it was to this base that part of the artillery ammunition was transported from the DPRK. Their route was investigated by the Frontelligence Insight OSINT group in January 2024," the message said.

DE analysts added that it was the 719th base near Tikhoretsk, along with a warehouse near the village of Yegorlytskoe in the Rostov Oblast and Mozdok in North Ossetia, that were the storage sites for missiles from the DPRK.

We will remind, as reported by the Ukrainian News Agency, tonight UAVs attacked an ammunition warehouse in the Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation, as well as the 23rd arsenal of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of russia.

At the same time, the 23rd arsenal is located less than 20 km from Toropets, where a large-scale fire with detonation also occurred at the 107th arsenal of Main Directorate the other day. Missiles for S-300, S-400, Iskanders and North Korean KN23 were stored there in the warehouse.
